Mohamed Salah Extends Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team in the wake of the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a vital match following making accusations and suggesting his relationship with manager had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Moving Forward
The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
He also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the matches since the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and on a positive run.”
